The landslide about rapeseed oil factory, in Fuling District in Chongqing, is located at slope section in the right bank of Geshuixi in the right bank of Changjiang.During the past decade, by the effect of natural factors and human engineering activities, the ground and the construction in research area produce many tension-caused deformation and failure. And the deformation tendency becomes more and more obvious in recent years. If the sliding happens in this area, it will cause great losses to human's lives and their properties. Therefore, it is utterly necessary to make a stability analysis and put forward a feasible prevention and control measure.Through the engineering geological conditions research in this area and the engineering geological investigation to landslide about rapeseed oil factory, the stability of the landslide has been evaluated on the basis of analyzing fundamental feature and formation mechanics of the landslide by using engineering geological analysis, qualitative finite element method analysis and limit equilibrium method. According to formation mechanics and influential factors, the corresponding feasible prevention and control measure of every landslide in research area is put forward. Through the work above, a few conclusions are reached as follow:1, The landslide about rapeseed oil factory is originally a fossil landslide ,the accumulation of the fossil is mostly eroded because of the desegregations led by the different main sliding direction. According the bedrock's protrusion condition in research area, the landside is divided to a fossil landslide area about rapeseed oil factory, a revival area of fossil landslide, a new landslide and an undeformed slope area. Among other things, the new landslide is divided into No.1 landslide, No.2 landslide and No.3 landslide.2, The deformation and failure modes, stability and development tendency is different in every section of the landslide on present situation and working condition.The primary deformation evidences in No.l landslide are surface tension-caused cracks and the deformation and failure of building, the deformation mode is consequent towed type, the slide plane is not completely formed and recently at its...
