Since June 18, 2007, in Dazhou City which is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, six continuous days of rain happended, just one country named daxian induced 129 geological disasters, what was (the) most serious was the landslide in Yanmen village of Qingling country. This landslide damages 1,658 houses, 2,700 farmlands acres, creates 543 households, 1,831 person of varying degrees hitting by disaster, the economic loss amounts to 150 million Yuan.The landslide occurred in the village caused a stir at home and abroad.The rock layer inclination angle and the slope of terrain in this landslide are all gentle; The surface layer of landslide area is impermeable clay which contains the crushed stone, the rubble stone; The two sides of landslide area ditches growth, the draining water condition is good, why the so large-scale landslide happenned? what is the origin mechanism have become the focal point to which the people widely pays attention.In foundation of the collection of geology investigation material and the open country field investigation, this article elaborated the geology environmental condition of Yanmen village landslide and characteristic in detail, and district the landslide area in accordance with the deformation characteristics of the landslide ; Have made the system analysis and the macroscopic judgement to the influence factors of landslide's formation and the origin mechanism, and carries on the confirmation through the physical analogue experiment to the origin mechanism of the major landslide area; Using rock (soil) mechanical testing ,engineering geology analogy and so on ,I had determined the physical mechanics parameter of the rock(soil); Using the limiting equilibrium theory , analysis stability of landslide various areas, and from this I had determined the landslide government scope; Finally in line with safe, economically, the practical principle, proposed the reasonable government project measure to the landslide. The research results mainly includes:(1) According to the extent of Yanmen Village landslide's deformation and damage of the earth's surfure, to divide it into four regions including the rear platform area, the major landslide area, the strong deformation zone , the weak deformation zone and the plastical flowing area;(2) In the process of the landslide ,which has the transformation of mechanics echanism. First was the destruction of the rear platform area in "translational gliding"; then the part of the rear platform area which was extruded ,formed "the stone waterfall" which has great energy along the steep in the front of the area, and give instantaneous load to the back of major landslide area, causes it to glide down fiercely; under Strong driving force of the major landslide,, the approached region receive pushing deformation, resulting in the formation of strong and weak deformation zone. In the process of the major landslide area gliding down, disintegrates pushing by the rear soil strongly and blocking by the front of the soil, coincided with the heavy rain, the left side of the main part of plastic flowing material to flow plastically to the lower terrain. Furthermore, it accumulates along the way, then the plastic flowing area was formed;(3) By using the physical analogue method,We take the main landslide area of Yanmen village as the geological prototype,.The distoration and destruction process of main landslide area is simulated, and this method demonstrate the origin of YANMEN village landslide;(4) The landslide stability computed result indicated that, in addition to the rear platform area is at the non-steady state, other various areas are all at the steady state under natural and the rainstorm operating mode, and has finally determined the rear platform area for the key project government scope;(5) It is suggested to use "slope face smooth + draining water + retaining wall " and such simple practical government measure in the rear platform area, then eliminates the hidden security danger of the Yanmen village landslide.
