Thermal EOS is among the essential problems in the domain of the equation-of-state study of condensed matter. In the Thomas-Fermi equation-of-state, electron pressure is expressed by the ratio of momentum transition to time between electrons and atom boundary of unit area.Besides, the virial theorem is also used to obtain thermal EOS in actual work.Starting with solving the derivatives of energy level, chemical potential, wave function and potential energy function with respect to the radius of an atom with finite vol.ume, this thesis presents a new method for computing the electron pressure at the boundary of an atom with finite temperature and matter density. In the part of fundamental theory, the underlying concept and theory of the model of average-atom with finite temperature and matter density are quoted first, included the computing of atomic structure in this model. On the basis of all above-mentioned,the theoretical derivation in the scheme for computing electron pressure is given.A computer program is written to validate the feasibility of the scheme, in the thesis there are analyses and explanations for the basic flow and important segments of the program. With these explanations,it is easy to gain a clear idea of the structure of the program and functions of its each part.At the end of the thesis there are some computed results of electron pressure obtained these days, and they are compared with the results of TF,TFD,TFS or HFS computed with about the same conditions. There it can be seen that the method for solving electron pressure presented in this thesis is not only feasible, but also somewhat distinctive.
