| Some physical problems involved in thermal equation of state have been systematically studied to satisfy the need of the engineering physics to a large amount of the pressure and energy data. For our study of EOS based on average atomic model, the problems are mainly classified into two aspects: one is the calculation of electron pressure and atomic energy under the arbitrary matter density and temperature, the other is the theoretical study of average atomic structure. Beside the one aspect, how to improve the atomic structure is the keystone of our research. Based on the aborative research, the systematic solutions of the average atomic structure are performed step by step. â‘ On the base of dynamic criterion for free electrons, a traditional average atomic model (AAM) is improved in several aspects. â‘¡The continuum radial wave function in central field approximation is normalized in a certain boundary condition. â‘¢The contributions of the free electrons are dealt with in four parts to improve the precision of electron pressure. The condition of normal density is spontaneously satisfied. As samples electron pressure and atomic energy of Iron, Rubidium, Nickel, Lead Americium, tungsten and thorium are calculated and compared with other theories or experiments. |
