Describes The Data Mining Applied Research In The Statistical Information System

Data Mining was put forward for the first time at the beginning of the 1990s in last century. It got fast development within short time. It Has gotten extensive application in the trades, such as finance, insurance, retailing, manufacturing, etc. As a crossing discipline, It sets up on the foundation of disciplines , such as data base, data warehouse, artificial intelligence, statistics, data visualizing, systematic science ,etc. It generally was divided into descriptive data mining and predictive data mining.The development of statistical information system is consistent with management information system. It has experienced EDP, MIS, DSS three stages. To Make the administrative decision deepen constantly is the clue of it's development. The appearance of data mining has a very great impact on statistical information system. How to apply data mining into statistical information is a new subject. This paper discussed it with JJMS.According to user's request of Flexible query, finding rule through data, data visualizing, JJMS applied descriptive data mining including OLAP, concept description and so on .It realized the function of basic analysis, classification analysis , related analysis, Characteristic value analysis. The result show at the way of pivot table, pivot chart. It satisfied the user preferably. The problems met on the process of development , development way have universal significance and can be applied in most MIS.This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter One introduces the definition and development of statistical information system. Chapter Two introduced the definition, level, data sources, objective of data mining. It also discussed the relation of data mining and statistics. Chapter Three introduced data warehouse, OLAP , multi-dimension at first., then discussed OLAP technique based on statistical data. Chapter Four discussed the application of concept description in statistical information system, including AOI and attribute relevance analysis mainly. Chapter Five discussed the general process of development of data mining statistical information system based on JJMS, including design of multi-dimension business space, design of method base, construction of data sources, data preprocessing, systemarchitecture and so on. At last it discussed the effect, shortage, improvement of JJMS and the conclusion and elicitation.
