The water solube crude polysaccharide had been exacted by HCl(pH=2 FS- I ). Carbamide(6% FS- II ).CC13COOH(FS- III )from Gloeostereum.insamatum.S.I toet I mai(G.LCF8511) , The crude polysaccharide FS-I -. FS-IIandFS-III were analysed by G.C, They are consist of XyK Mam Glc.The molar ratio is 1.3:1:1 in FS- I ,the ratio is 2.2:2:1 in FS- II ,and also it is 2:1.4:1 in FS-III.FS-III had been fractionated by ethanol.Three fractions: FS-HIa ,FS-fflb, FS-IIIc The struction of FS-IIIc was determined in this experiment. FS-IIIc is brown power,G.C analysis indicate that FS-IIIc is composed of Man and Glc, The molar ratio is 1.42:1.Through Sepharose CL-6B gel filitration and cellulous acetate electrophoresis, FS-IIIc is determined to be homogeneous.The totle content of FS-IIIcis 96%,Through Sepharose CL-6B gel filtration, its average molecular weight is 126KD.Through IR, G.C, partial hydrolysis with acid, periodate oxidation, Smith degradation, methylation and G.C-MS analysis .They reveal that FS-IIIc is a kind of lowly branched structure. The main chain is mainly made up of Man,Glc, - (1-3) Man and (1 3 ) Glc, (1-3) Glc resudues are substituted at 6-O.On average, there are 2 branches among 11 main chain residues.The side chain is composed of (1 4) Glc ,The nonreduced end is composed of Man, Glc.Through anti -biotic experimental shown that the micromolecular in ethanol has obviously anti-biotic capacity .
