In recent years, thanks for the fast development of the electric power communications network, the scale of the network is getting larger and larger, the business types are continuously increased, and the structure is becoming increasingly complex, the electric power communications network especially the optic communication network has become the indispensable part of the electric power network in Tianjin. How to raise the professional running maintenance level of the electric power, and to established high effective communication resources management system, has become an urgent problem that need to be solved.This paper is named by the management system of electrical communications resources which are based on the geographical information and web technology, further studied the main features, production processes and implementation methods of the management system of electrical communications resources. Specifically speaking, this paper mainly introduced the characteristics of the geographical information combined with the electric power network, how to draw the electronic map and to choose the appropriate software to draw the cable geographic information map of the south city of the power supply company firstly; Secondly, this paper described the method of how to make the comprehensive distribution frames and other communications foundation material, after that, it integrated the communications foundation materials by the link technology using the intuition characteristic of electronic map, which realized the integration of the basic data and images, and then the management system of electrical communication resources which are based on the geographical information and web technology was designed in the last.The actual application of the management system proved that, it can effectively improve the power network resource utilization, and can improve the overall level of the maintenance management of the electric power network, so that it has great importance to the development of the electric power communications in the future.
