The paper designs and develops phosphorite resource information system, combined research task of Yuntianhua group mineral resource information system and geological evaluation, and selected phosphorite resource as research target, and applied GIS technology, database technology and component development technology. And wishes to achieve the national requirements of state-owned enterprises bigger and stronger in order to enhance market competitiveness and optimize the allocation of resources, and the files essence of relevant preponderance property and important industries conformity of Yunnan provincial Party committee and government, and promotes industries information management and scientific and technological progress and innovation.This research applies GIS to the fields of geology and mineral. On the basis of current situations and needs of Yuntianhua group mineral resource management, the paper elaborates the integrated development based on the fourth generation distributed large/super-large GIS-MapGIS7 from the design and implementation:Firstly, the paper researches enterprise and resource management of Yuntianhua group, and analyses the horizontal enterprise management model and the vertical resource management model.Secondly, the paper comprehensively studys on the key technology-the fourth generation GIS. First, the paper elaborates characteristics, types, components and research contents of the fourth-generation GIS. Second, the paper analyses the system platform-MapGIS7; final, the paper summarizes the applications and development trends of GIS in the field of mineral resources.Thirdly, the paper researches distribution and characteristics of phosphorite resource.Fourthly, system analysis:The fundamental ideas of system analysis is starting from the system concept, finding out the different feasible schemes by analyzing and synthesizing the current situations, which is in the interest of supplying foundation and indemnification of the system design. System analysis chiefly consists of needs analysis and feasible analysis. Fifthly, system design and implementation:The researches are from these several aspects which are the definition of system target, system design principles and basises, system overall design, system function modules design, development environment, operating environment and system implementation and application.Sixthly, system database design:The system database design is the most significant part of system, building one useful and easily extensive database needs spending large quantity on manpower and resources. The paper elaborates gradually requirement analysis, construction flow, design principle, target and fundamental idea of system database. Finally, the paper has made feasible hierarchical structure design of system data.Lastly, conclusion and prospect:The paper evaluates the system and points out the achievements and shortcomings. And has analysis and evaluation on consummation, application and development of system.
