This research conducts the health foods KAP sample investigation research to the Jilin A Company health foods consumer, and analysis on health food consumer knowledge, attitudes, consumption situation, understand their health food and dietary supplements on the guidance of demand for more effective education, nutrition and health food, health food products for the consumer and to guide the development of health food products for the relevant departments to formulate intervention strategies and related management policies to provide evidence.MethodsAccording to health education KAP (knowledge-attitude-practice, KAP) model, designed by "health food knowledge-attitude-behavior survey" questionnaire. Knowledge scores correlated with gender, age no significant correlation, the higher monthly income of health food knowledge score higher, per capita monthly consumption of health food products with low knowledge scores were lower,higher educational level of health food knowledge got higher scores; a qualified nutritionist or health management division who have received training in nutrition and health food knowledge were more frequently, their health food knowledge got higher score.3.The attitude of health food: Most people think that nutrition knowledge is very important for health, and willing to get more knowledge about health food. If conditions permitting, they will choose health food.When they could not get sufficient supply of nutrients from the daily diet, they will choose dietary supplements. Most people believed that health food had some health effects, and health food was not substitute for a drug. Dietary supplements can not replace the role of a reasonable diet, health food, but that should "cure all disease-physical" person account for a large proportion. Most people thought that the elderly had to choose vitamin E, vitamin C, calcium and iron, but some people did not know whether it should be appropriate to add vitamin D, about 1 / 10 of people thought that we should make sodium.Respondents to buy health food, the focus was on functional effect (ie, quality), expert guidance and attention to word of mouth around their propaganda, ads were not gullible.
