In the recent years, XX Company has took out the important breakthrough on XX basin's deep natural gas exploration and found out plenty of natural gas resources containing CO2. Among these resources, especially the oil region of XX Company, CO2 has much higher than national standard that the content of CO2 in commercial natural gas is less than 3%. It is not only bring great difficulties for the development of CO2 gas reservoir, but also press for finding the utilization of natural gas resources development which accompany with CO2.The project of the comprehensive utilization in natural gas containing CO2 is the important project which is used to solve the effective exploration for XX basin's deep natural gas resources containing CO2 and the comprehensive utilization in CO2. The project is undertook by the company associate with its research institute, and other enterprises, research institutes and universities participated in the research of project's 8 subjects. The successfully implementation of the project, is conductive to the rapid development of XX Company's natural gas, use the low permeability reserves in the large scale and achieve the grand objective early to build the million-tons level's large oil field, in addition to make the research findings have a good application value.Project Post-evaluation is one the indispensable parts in the project life cyXXe. It is to analysis the invest purpose of project that is to has accomplished after the project and as well as execution course, beneficial, result and influence of project in system and objective manner; Through summary and evaluation of various aspect of works in the investment project decision making and the implementation process, to assess whether the project anticipated target achieved, whether the plans reasonable and effective, whether the main economic index realized; Through the analysis of project success or failure, summarizes the experience and lesson learnt, provide the reference for the future decision-making and the management level of the project, thus improve the profit of investment.This paper adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, uses many research methods, such as statistics, literature, comparative, logic, case studies and inductive methods. Based on the project post-evaluation theories to do a systematical, whole and objective evaluation on the project of the development of XX Company's natural Gas containing CO2, CO2 storage and its comprehensive utilization. This paper firstly gives an account of research background and purpose and significance, status of the project post-evaluation and CO2 development and utilization as well as research methods and content; Then, introduces the definition and features of project post-evaluation, the different between project pre-evaluation, evaluation contents and methods and its importance in detailed; Thirdly, shows the basis information of XX company's project of the development of XX Company's natural Gas containing CO2, CO2 storage and its comprehensive utilization, as well as the reference and construction of evaluation index system for its project post-evaluation; This paper focuses on the post-evaluation of decision-making process, implement process, fund use and benefits, impact and sustainability. Lastly, the paper evaluates comprehensively the entire project, to sum up the experience and main issues and provide recommendations. It is useful to follow-up projects. It will provide an important reference for the decision-making and the management of implementation during the project investment in this field. It also plays a role in demonstrating and promoting the in-depth development of the project post-evaluation.
