With the advent of knowledge economy, knowledge as a capital plays an increasingly important role in enterprises. By implementing knowledge management, many private technology enterprises improve their capacity of knowledge application and knowledge innovation, and transfer knowledge advantage into the technical advantage to form their core competitiveness. However, many problems arises in the process of the private technology enterprises implement knowledge management due to lack of knowledge management cognition, basic elements support and protection system, so our private technology enterprises can not form their the core competitiveness. Through comprehensive analysis, case analysis, dialectical analysis, this paper demonstrates that if the private technology enterprises want to enhance their core competitiveness, they are necessary to effectively complete the process that is"knowledge acquisition - knowledge management - knowledge innovation - knowledge application". On this basis, this paper proposes measures and projects according to the problems arising in process in order to make sure that our private technology enterprises implement knowledge management to improve their core competitiveness and promote their continuous development.There are seven parts in this paper. Part l makes a brief introduction of research background, research purposes, research methods, as well as the thinking of research. Part II is a theoretical overview, mainly including the basic theory of knowledge management and the core competitiveness. Part III describes the relationship between knowledge management and core competence as well as basic principles of knowledge management improving core competence. Part IV expounded the status and necessity of knowledge management in our private technology enterprises. PartV expounded the shortcomings which arising in the course of private technology enterprises in China implementing knowledge management, including: insufficient capital investment, transformation of explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge being not enough, lacking of specialized knowledge-management institutions, the jobs being lack of clear knowledge requirements, insufficient knowledge capitalization operation, insufficient competent staffs. Part VI put forward to the corresponding measures and programs according to above-mentioned problems, including: establishing departments which is in charge of knowledge management, setting up an enterprise knowledge base, designing effective systems and mechanisms, improving transformation between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge , establishing a knowledge-oriented corporate culture, implementing people-oriented management model. Part VII is an empirical analysis. Taking Lenovo Group and Haier Group for example, this paper proves that the correct implementation of knowledge management can improve enterprise core competitiveness.
