Since 1980's, knowledge as a unique factor of production climbed the economic stage. Today, he knowledge which is going to replace the traditional land, capital, equipment and other productional factors becomes the company's core and key resource, and plays an increasingly important role in promoting economic growth and enterprise development, showing its exuberant vitality. In recent years, the classification that the knowledge is divided into explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge is approved by many scholars. Especially, due to not easily transmissible and difficult to trade and so on, tacit knowledge has been becoming the foundation and source of competitive advantage. Many scholars begin to study the tacit knowledge, and thus research on firm's core competence and competitive advantage basing on the viewpoint of the tacit knowledge. However, theoretical research is more, empirical and quantitative research is relatively few, as well as the mechanism study for the relationship of tacit knowledge and core competence is relatively few. The paper attempts to research on from perspective of the transferring and sharing of the tacit knowledge, and study the mechanism of the tacit knowledge and improvement of core capability, and intends to build models in accordance with the mechanism, so selects the case to research on empirically, in order to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the enterprises, which are implementing tacit knowledge management.The paper is going to study from the following aspects:First of all, the paper states the transferring and sharing mechanism of tacit knowledge, and establishes the model about transferring and sharing of the tacit knowledge. Through correlation analysis for the constituent elements of core capability and transferring and sharing of tacit knowledge, the paper thinks the the process of transferring and sharing of the tacit knowledge is essentially the upgrading process of the constituent elements of core capability. The coordinately increase of the various constituent elements to a certain degree, it will encourage core capability to enhance enormously. Meanwhile, the paper proposes that the enhanced core capability has reacted in the tacit knowledge, that is, which facilitates the transferring and sharing of tacit knowledge, forming a virtuous cycle. Secondly, according to the mechanism that the transferring and sharing of the tacit knowledge enhances core capability, the paper puts forward to the paths enhancing core capability. Finally, the paper selects ZTE's tacit knowledge management practice as a case, trying to use case study to verity the correctness of the mechanism, in order to enhance the credibility of the viewpoint of the paper.The conclusion is:, Firstly, the process of tacit knowledge management is the process of the transferring,sharing and innovating of tacit knowledge. Secondly, the enhancing of core capability improves the transferring and sharing of tacit knowledge. Thirdly, the enhancing process of core capability is the process of the transferring and sharing of tacit knowledge. |
