In the six elements of tourism, "eat" ranks first. Tourist catering service occupies an important position; it guarantees quality service for tourists and forms direct impact on tourists'satisfaction. Tourist catering is an important source of tourism revenue. Tourism promotes the local catering strongly. At the same time, possessed by strong regional and folk cultural identity and so on, tourist catering becomes an important tourist attraction and plays an important role in tourism marketing.Chengdu is the main cradle and distribution center of Sichuan Cuisine with strong diet atmosphere. Sichuan food is famous for its variety and taste. Its high market adaptability feature makes Chengdu tourist catering accepted by most tourists. However, there are still some problems in tourist catering management, such as culture utilization.The article selects tourist catering of Chengdu as studying object. Based on the theories of tourism, food science, marketing, management and other subjects related, the paper probes into catering resources of Chengdu, chooses some typical catering enterprises, analyses the current situation and weaknesses of Chengdu tourist market and summarizes the demand market through literature search, interview and other means. Based on these studies, strategies are summed up from three aspects; they are product development, product marketing and support systems.Article is divided into four parts:Part one is an introduction, stating the reason, research status, purpose and significance of the research. Part two is the current situation of Chengdu tourist catering. First mainly defining related concepts and pointing out that tourist catering is a universality behavior in the course of tour, it is based on the overall prosperity of the community catering and demonstrates strong regional culture. Second, outlining the developing course of the Chengdu tourist catering and analyzing the current situation and weaknesses.Part three are strategies from three aspects. Based on the demanding and supporting markets analyses, strategies are summed up from three aspects, they are product development, product marketing and support systems.Part four is conclusion part. Based on above analysis, the author draws a conclusion of the research.
