This paper aims at this shortfall, with Qingshuijiang River Jinping County Wendou village contracts as the research object, through the contract documents organize content,On the contract related to a specific forest-depth information on each site reconnaissance. Again with their fieldwork data and the results of previous studies, the author features the use of schools and ecological anthropology theory and methods into a single chapter to link up the contract read as a continuation of the history of space on the stable social networks, and then from the woodland Property maintenance point of view to explain the social functions of forestry and value of contracts and thus study the history of Qingshuijiang River valley of forestry management, and cultural causes of the situation. This research shows that: as a Miao and Dong culture of Qingshuijiang River vally an integral part, Forestry Contracts are the foresters for forest management to a system of guarantees and their function of property rights embodied in the maintenance of the forest, so that forest management can be normal and stable manner. It was not only to maintain community stability and social harmony, but also to maintain the local ecology, also played an important role.we can say that there is no forestry contract regulates people's behavior, Qingshuijiang River 300 years of forestry prosperity can not be achieved, therefore, forestry contracts was unlock social harmony, economic development, forestry run smoothly, ecosystem stability, the system guaranteed a key in Qingshuijiang River.Today, in order to pursue development and inadvertently, China's forestry management fail to notice a number of institutional guarantees, there is a small amount of local problems, it constraints forestry development. Analysis of the reasons: there is mainly no understanding of the culture; forest management does not meet the four basic requirements. Therefore, I propose whether the contemporary forest management to refer the forestry contract, drawing on the cultural patterns of this Forestry Contract and to maintain the forestry development with the binding effect of culture. so we can use traditional management methods and modern science together to ensure the forestry to develop orderly.I hope the shallow study not only serve as a stimulus in today's China's rural forestry reform and management.but also play the role of reference and inspiration in the ecological maintenance,construction of harmonious society, community economic development.
