Lear Corporation has established thirteen branches in China. The main products are automotive interiors parts. The Company establishes modern organization to implement Six Sigma Methodology. Six Sigma Methodology starts from 1980s which aims to improve quality level, increase customers'satisfaction and improve management level. It provides complete route and system of problem settlement and gives more focus on internal and external customer to guarantee product and service quality.There are a lot of weaknesses in the Six Sigma implementation which needs immediate analysis systematically and the key inputs shall be identified and studied to improve the comprehensive competitive ability.The thesis introduces the basic background of Lear China and Six Sigma methodology, including its starting, development, application, tools and phases & steps. The main product, automotive seat, is introduced, including foam, sewing and assembly processes.The problems are identified from the quality level and the information from customers, which haven't met the predicted results of Six Sigma Methodology implementation. After the study of implementation result of Lear China, several ways to problem identification are conducted, including investigations, interviews, situation comparisons and questionnaires, etc. The problems include management support, human resources, Six Sigma leader and assessment system. The measurements are to improve acknowledge of management support, stress communication, perfect training and assignment system and assessment system.
