The birth of finance and accounting industry is the results of the economic development. With the economic globalization, the economic development of China is speeding up. This brings the keen demand for talents in finance and accounting. At present, the structure of our finance and accounting talents is imbalance"oversupply of the low-grade and secondary talents, scarcity of senior talents", formed a contradiction between supply and demand. Thus, research on national cultivation model of senior talent in finance and accounting to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of senior talents has become a key research topic. This thesis analyzes the status quo of the senior talent's cultivation in finance and accounting based on the supply and demand for the senior talents. On the basis of this analysis, researches into how to construct a national cultivation model of senior talent in finance and accounting which accommodates the economic development requirements, to meet the social demands for senior talent in finance and accounting.The thesis discusses the problem in six aspects. The first part is an introduction, points out the problems on the basis of analyzing the present situation of our talents in finance and accounting, and introduces the research methods and ideas. The second part introduces the key theoretics, the related concepts is explained to confirm the research of this scope. The third part is divided into three aspects to investigate the situation of high-leveled talents in finance and accounting. Firstly, makes a survey of the social demand for the senior talents both from number and capabilities. Then makes an employment survey of the graduate students in finance and accounting in China. Finally, on the basis of the investigation between the supply and demand of the senior talents, points out there has some problems in cultivating senior talents in finance and accounting in China, mainly is the cultivation model of postgraduate has not adapt to the current economic development, the postgraduates who was cultivated from the model can not meet the social needs. In the fourth part, author analyzes the status quo of our senior talents in finance and accounting, and points out the problems, besides analyzes the foreign training modes of senior talent and uses them for reference. In the fifth part, author proposes the national cultivation model of senior talents in finance and accounting, confirms the training objectives, and combines the"direct cultivation"with"subsequent cultivation". Finally part is the conclusion of the research which points out the innovative ideas of the whole thesis.
