Since the 1990's, supply chain collaboration has become the new strategy in supply chain management. The collaborative operation of supply chain takes increasingly important position in the current globalized and distributed supply chain management, which requires that it should respond to market demand rapidly. Vendor Managed Inventory is an advanced mode of the collaborative operation of the supply chain, which can effectively eliminate the uncertainty caused by demand fluctuation, thus greatly reducing the operation cost of the supply chain. The research of collaborative mechanism of the VMI-based supply chain has a very important theoretical and practical significance to excavate the essence of collaborative supply chain, the motivation of every member in the collaborative operation and coordination mechanism, to analyze supply chain operation scheme, to find equilibrium point of supply chain behind kinds of interests conflict, to seek holistic and long-term optimal decision of supply chain, and to improve the competitiveness of the supply chain. This dissertation was aimed to study the essential mechanism of the Supply Chain Collaboration. From the perspectives of the dynamic and the high order nonlinear of the supply chain system, the dissertation studies on the dynamic mechanism of the collaborative operation in the VMI-based supply chain system. Meanwhile, the risk measurement mode of the VMI-based collaborative supply chain system was studied to ensure the stability and the reliability of the system. The main content includes:(1) This dissertation, through combing the basic concepts of supply chain management and supply chain collaboration theory, excavates the collaborative motivation, the collaborative essence and the collaborative mechanism of every member in the supply chain deeply, thus based on which the frame of collaborative supply chain systems was set up.(2) The performance of the supply chain collaborative operation is the key to the success of supply chain management. This dissertation describes the basic theory of the vendor-managed inventory and proposes a VMI-based collaborative operation mode of the supply chain. To study dynamic mechanisms of collaborative operation about inventory, replenishment and distribution in Supply Chain System based on VMI, the dissertation constructs respectively a system dynamic model of collaborative supply chains system on Time-based and Quantity-based shipment consolidation policy applying principle and method of system dynamic. According to math simulation of dynamic behavior of SC system based on vendor managed inventory pattern under different strategies by VENSIM software, it seeks characteristics and rules of supply chain system and its parameters optimization on VMI environment. The relationship between system cost and parameters in the two shipment consolidation policy was obtained, and the optimal operation scheme of the supply chain under different consolidation policy was analyzed quantitatively. Finally, by comparative analysis of two shipment consolidation policy, its advantages and disadvantages and appropriate environment can be achieved under same parameter. The dissertation provides method guidance for SC operation.(3) Study on the risk of VMI-based collaborative supply chain system. In this section, the reliability of the supply chain was calculated from the view of the probability, thus, failure risk of the VMI-based collaborative supply chain was analyzed. The FTA model of the collaborative operation was constructed in VMI-based supply chain system using the fault tree principle for reference. The simulation of Monte Karlo method was used to analyze the failure probability of the system, to find out the failure reasons and the potential risk. It is helpful to discover the unsubstantial link in the supply chain operation so as to take effective supervisory control and risk precaution. Finally, whole content was summarized, important conclusion and the limitations of the study were described, and the future research direction was discussed and prospected.
