E-Procurement And Supplier Management Based On The Purchasing And Logistics Management Service Platform

Supplier management is an important part of business strategy management. Moreover, excellent supplier management can improve the quality and efficiency of procurement, as well as cut down business operation cost. E-procurement has been adopted by more and more companies with its better performance over traditional procurement.In this paper, we first introduced e-procurement's concept, development, strengths and applications. Secondly, we explained the definition of supply chain, supplier management, supplier partnership and the main features of supplier classification. Finally, based on the procurement and logistics platform, we carried out applications for Liaoning Mobile Cor. The results in this paper showed that the implementation of e-procurement greatly promoted the optimization of business process, improved the efficiency and overall level of procurement management.
