Modern companies are facing with increasing market competition as well as dema nding customer requirements. In order to improve the competitiveness of companies m eanwhile meeting the customer requirements of personalized products, many companie s adopt the lean production mode in production, highlighting their core business, st rengthening cooperation between enterprises, but obtain non-dominant components thr ough outsourcing or procurement. This requires companies to adopt JIT procurement m ode when procuring components, however, JIT procurement mode brings higher pro curement logistics costs, in order to reduce logistics costs and solve this problem, c omponents distribution center establishment is a necessity, and site selection of comp onents distribution center is particularly important to its exertion.This paper analyzes the new situation faced by the modern companies, introduce s the concept of transfer distribution centers integrated with the characteristics of com ponents distribution centers. The basic theory of the distribution centers is introduced, characteristics of transfer distribution center are summarized, and the importance of t ransfer distribution center location site is analyzed. On the basis of these, this article summarizes the basic models and methods of site selection and analyzes their respecti ve characteristics.In combination with the classical method of continuous location----advantages and disadvantages of differential method as well as characteristics of the gray theory, ba sed on the characteristics of transfer distribution centers, this article proposes a new site location method integrating grey comprehensive evaluation method and differential method together, and this method can settle the site selection problem of single dist ribution center when there are few interferences to decision making and no alternative site is available, this article write solver to iterated operation of differential method and also proposes multi-facility selection model of transfer distribution center under cir cumstance of alternative locations determined, offer LINGO solver of the model by u sing LINGO software. Both the two methods proposed in the article are introduced an d verified through numerical examples, moreover, C++ source code of differential method solving and LINGO solver of multi-facility selection model of transfer distrib ution center are presented in this article.
