In recent years, human beings have been frequently undergone the nature's revenge, such as tsunami, floods, earthquakes, sandstorms, and so on. Gradually, humanity begins to recognize that if we want to survive on the earth, we must stop the arbitrary deprivation of the nature and retain the only living space for themselves and their own sub– descendants. Therefore, how to solve the problem of human generations by making the efforts of contemporary people to bring the benefit to the future generations, is the major practical issues today. The crux of the problem is to disassemble and commit to the intergenerational responsibility, which is also the internal requirement of implementing the Scientific Outlook On Development and taking the road of sustainability.Inter-generational responsibility is to ensure that in future, every generation has an equal right to survive and develop. They could enjoy equal resources to achieve scientific development. Intergenerational accountability is to improve the relationship among human, nature and society. However, in our country, from the government to social organizations and individuals all have a general lack of intergenerational responsibility. Therefore, China should fully implement the Scientific Outlook On Development, stress its commitment to intergenerational responsibility to ensure that the interests of present and future generations, to achieve intergenerational equity and scientific development. In light of the fundamental realities of China and similar research at home and abroad, this thesis analyzes the content, significance and basis of intergenerational responsibility with holding the principle of combining theory with practice. The innovation of this thesis is to research how to disassemble the intergenerational responsibility, to analyze the existing problems and put forward ideas and suggestions.
