The intermediate business of commercial bank is being growing rapidly in our country.The weighted growth rate of ICBC,CCB and BOC's intermediate business net profit are respectively 54.73%,58.94% and 41.57%.Close to the end of 2008,the three banks'intermediate business net profit have taken about one third of the total profit.In the future,the performance of the intermediate business will affect magnificently the competition structure of the commercial bank.Therefore , evaluation the performance of the intermediate business is very important portion in the commercial bank performance evaluation system, which also is needed supplying a gap in this problem.This article arrange the data of all listed 14 commercial banks intermediary business,which between from 2004 to 2008. Based on the collected data, analyze the development statement of listed commercial banks intermediary business in our country.summarize the inner characteristic of intermediate business in our country.And utilize the Principal Component Analysis and Balanced Score Card methods,making the quantitative evaluation model of the intermediate business performance;utilizing the TOPSIS method to order the performance of the listed commercial banks'intermediate business performance in our country.This article proposes two basic modern commercial bank performance evaluation systems integrated in the intermediate business performance evaluation,and contrast the strengthness and weakness of the two basic methods.On the learn from the experiences and lessons of foreign commercial banks intermediary business,we propose that how to consolidate the development achievement we have already got,how to put forward to the service ability of intermediary business,and how to improve the risk control ability of intermediary business.
