Rural tourism, based on its abundant natural resources, earthy custom and culture, colorful fold culture and old rural settlements, stands out in our country's tourism industry. It not only meets people's urgent demand, but also enriches tourism category, which is liked by more and more tourists. Rural tourism has become an important part in tourism industry, which provides new income resource, increases employment, promotes village industrial structure adjustment, invigorates the rural economy, solves the problems related to agriculture, rural areas and farmers, attains the urban and rural integrated development of economy and society. It positively pushes forward socialism new countryside construction. The purpose is to let the farmers live and work in peace and contentment, to have an affluent and civilized life, to commit to the countryside society comprehensive development and to construct the countryside harmonious society. New countryside construction needs the support and drive of preliminary pillar industry to establish the urban-rural interaction and harmonious development. Subject to analyzing the advantages and constraints of the resources and environment of chengdu ,this paper dissects the development image of rural tourism, analyses the dialectical relations of new countryside construction and rural tourism, especially it comes to the conclusion that rural tourism is the pillar industry of new countryside construction of chengdu by researching the cases of countryside rural tourism.,analysed chengdu rural tourism sustainable development.It makes useful exploration to socialism new countryside construction and also the sustainable development of chengdu rural tourism.
