| During the past decade, rural tourism has been booming worldwide at unprecedented scope. Favored by more and more tourists, it is an indispensable component of the tourism industry, performing an important role for the tourism development. In China, people's spiritual and cultural demands have been increasing as their material needs are met. With great awareness of relaxation among Chinese people, to have a rural touring has become the best choice of urban people. Happy farmhouse, as a specific form of rural tourism, has been going through a rapid development across the country. Shanxi happy farmhouse in particular is flourishing in terms of speed and scale. But in the lack of a complete and systematic theoretic guidance, the taste and service of the tourism products are far from satisfaction for diversified needs of tourists, as a result of which sustainable development of the local tourism is hampered.The thesis studies conditions of Shanxi happy farmhouse first, then based on a questionnaire survey it proposes the development of five product types of Shanxi happy farmhouse. The author further makes a trial marketing of the products. Taking a Taiyuan Yuwen Farmhouse as an example, the thesis finds out a solution for existing problems by combining theories with practice. |
