Urbanization is an inevitable trend of economic and social development. It plays an important role in promoting China's economic development and social progress. China is in a period of urbanization rapid development. Urbanization process can change our unbalanced dual economy at this stage to a dollar of economic. Urbanization can resolve the lack of effective demand and promote sustained economy growth. At the same time, it is important to speed up the urbanization process for narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas, promote coordinated regional development, promote industrial upgrading, protect of resources and the environment, and achieve sustainable development and the achievement of economic globalization and increased international competitiveness.Concerted of development with the guidance of Marxism, this article has been in from the field on the basis of research results to from the general to specific, from theory to practice, and from the periphery to the core. Urbanization has been comprehensive analysis in this article. From the concept of urbanization and the way of urbanization with Chinese characteristics, we have an outline of the urbanization, and then it has done a more systematic sort on the historical process of urbanization in China. It was a strong supports that understanding of the historical process of urbanization and finding the deep excavation problems. In the next, it investigates the dynamic mechanism of urban-based and interactive. It explained the economic development of the urbanization process of the push factors from the theory. In this paper, the actual situation in Shandong Province, made a model to look forward to the conclusions above argument, but from the empirical findings of the study, there is hardly relationship between economic development and urbanization. In Shandong province, economy development has not played its due role in urbanization process. This is obviously that the situation of urban development is contradictory to the theory. In consideration of the possible reasons what cause these problems, we can make a conclusion that urbanization and economic development is seriously out of line. There are many obstacles on the way of the economic development will really become the main driving force of urbanization. Finally, theoretical and empirical analysis as the main body, combined with Shandong province economic, social reality according to this study the problems identified and recommendations put forward some countermeasures, and future development prospects and tendency of urbanization.Preamble of the article is a basic introduction of concepts and research focuses primarily on the concept of urbanization. It includes the concept, the general law, present studies, purpose and significance of this paper, innovation and infrastructure.In the first part of this article, it reviews of the historical process of urbanization in China. Third Plenary Session in 1978 divided history of urbanization in China into two stages: before 1978 and since 1978 the process of urbanization. According to the different situation, two stages breakdown to different conditions. Finally, it become eight small stage two phases. The two phases have the different characteristics.The second part is the dynamic mechanism of urbanization and its interaction study. Firstly, it is the analysis and description of the promotion of the fundamental driving force of urbanization, the main driving force, an important driving force for. Then it is the analysis of reaction of urbanization on the market factors, industry structure, regional economic development, sustainable development.The third part is an empirical study, regarding to the specific situation of Shandong Province. Firstly, we select 9 indexes which can reflect economic development. Secondly, analyze the data and then select the most representative of the three factors to linear regression analysis. However, the results of this section are not very satisfactory. The results show that economic development in Shandong Province and the application does not play a role in promoting economic development and urbanization process seriously out of line.The forth of article mainly discusses the problems which are founded during the study and proposes opinion and suggestion to the problem. It explains the outcome of ideas from the following four different aspects of the phenomenon: to promote urbanization to handle several of the relations, to improve the institutional environment, to the development of clear thinking and to establish the development strategy.Finally, considering the above situation analysis which discussed, we do the forecast about the process of urbanization in Shandong province.
