China's hybrid rice seed production and consumption is one of the highest country in the world. As China's econmic development, how to develop hybrid rice prices is also becoming more and more difficult. Many seed companies constantly on the pricing strategy of seed to achieve the maximization of profits in order to achieve greater economic benefits of seed companies. Thereby, To research the issue of" Pricing strategy of hybrid rice seed", exploreing the suitable pricing strategies, ideas and concrete measures for our hybrid rice seed companies will be conducive to seed companies developing more stability and rapidly.In this study, we use the synthesis analysis method,system analysis method and comparative analysis method, researching the basic characteristics and problems of our country's hybrid rice seed market, the situation of the price of hybrid rice in this year and the structrue about the price of the hybrid rice seeds. the main research results are as follows:1 Hybrid rice seed as a necessary material of agricultural production, supply price is so paddy, the new variety is generally higher prices, the same variety in different area has different price, there is a certain gap between the price in the same series.the price of general varieties are lower than the special varieties.2 From 2007 to 2008,with the price of hybrid rice seeds costs increasing,the price of hybrid rice seeds is higher,the price rice trend is reasonably and stable. From 2008 to 2009, the price increase is not quick, the growth rate is lower than the previous year, from 2009 to 2010, the hybrid rice seed price is increasing of 40%.3 Prices of hybrid rice seeds are including four factors about seed costs; dealer's marginal operating costs; seed farmers, seed companies, and dealers'profits; the costs of advertising, promotions and inventions.4 Hybrid rice seed prices are affected by climate, seed output and quality, prices of the material of produce, the fluctuation of market prices, and the contradiction between supply and demand.5 Seed companies must be based on our pricing policy to develop the seed price, the main crop seeds price must follow the government guidance.6 The price level of rice seed was a quadratic function of corporate profits.
