In recent years domestic IPTV market grew fast since related policies are relaxed, while the competitive circumstance goes more severe. As one of the earliest equipment supplier in China, and benefited with advanced technical on IPTV, UTStarcom has occupied more than 50% of market share currently. To maintain the leading position then acquire more market share, UTStarcom still need to conduct a research on market strategy. In this article, the author analyze the china IPTV market competitive circumstance by the way of PEST, SWOT and portfolio models, and definite the target market segment, then develop the market strategy based on owned advantages. Finally, the study below is described from product strategy, pricing strategy, channel strategy, marketing strategies and promotional strategies.
