With economic globalization and the increasing prominence of environmental issues, the CSR theory was advanced in-depth study. After the CSR was constructed, requirements of corporate social responsibility was getting louder and more widely involved, to fulfill their social responsibility was increasingly becoming business strategy. Diversification of business objectives, by the shareholders turned to stakeholders; as the high-level and an important part of corporate social responsibility system, the situation of corporate philanthropy responsibility (CPR) performance was pay attention to. With implementation of CPR, there will be more susceptible to the public and community, thus conducive to the sustainable development of enterprises; on the contrary, the negative effects. Through the generosity donation in 2008, the absolute amount increased a lot, but in 2009 it fell sharply and even became less than 2007, the overall level of CPR in China is still low, charitable idea and action also drag out, in a word there is still a big gap between China and the developed countries.Based on the analysis background, this thesis studies the CPR performance in China. First of all, through the literature, related theories and research, defining the relevant concepts, and then sort out the trend, to lay the basis of this study; Second, from the macro and micro perspective to research the significance of CPR, according to official data, analyses the status of corporate philanthropy, and in-depth analysis power of Chinese enterprises and the lack of charitable causes. Since then, the use of comparative analysis, combined with experience of developed countries and China's present situation and problems, put forward to strengthen our enterprises to fulfill their charitable obligations countermeasures. The main thesis reads as follows:The introduction outlines the background of this study, significance, methods, frameworks, innovation, and disadvantage.The first part is the review of relevant literature and theories, and summarizes the theoretical basis of CPR, defines the CSR and CPR; analyzes the CPR research trends.The second part is about the meaning and motives of CPR in China. Macro-and micro-analysis of its meaning; the driving force of corporate philanthropy includes the internal culture, the development of strategic choice, and external driving forces.The third part analyzes the charitable status, and discusses why it lagged. According to the relevant charity data, analyzes the status of CPR performance, the overall level of corporate charitable causes, is also analyzed from both internal and external perspective, including government, charitable organizations, public media, public opinion.The forth part compares the developed countries'CPR, including the USA,UK and Singapore.The fifth part put forward countermeasures and suggestions, compared to the mature developed philanthropy experience, status and corporate philanthropy in our country, from four levels to propose a solution:the introduction of market mechanism; government functions focus on supervision and guidance; enterprises change their charitable style regain the initiative; charitable organizations enhance the credibility and competitiveness; the public media, the right guidance and supervision.Partâ…¥is a case study, analyses empirical and operational effectiveness of the countermeasures.Last part is the conclusion of this study, which is summarized and classified.
