Research On The Potentiality And Growth Motivation Of Chongqing Producer Services Industry

Since the 1980s, with the improvement of economic, service industry has changed to be with more knowledge and intensive technology. As the world economic went into post-industrial era, service industry was becoming a important symbol which can indicate and judge the economic modernization level of a country. Especially producer service industry, which has played a positive role in regional industrial structure, economic development and urban layout, it's also playing the important role in stimulating regional economic, increasing employment and income.Chongqing is one of the youngest municipalities of China, which is devoting to build the economic center of the upper reaches of Yangtze River, the most important growth pole of western region and the municipality of orchestrated rural-urban development. Grand goal realization needed carry out specific industry, and producer services industry was the carrier to realize those three goals in Chongqing. However, it was found that Chongqing's producer service industry was faced with formidable challenges with many bottlenecks. How to promote the development and exploit the potential of producer service industry became the problem that needed to be solved in the economic development of Chongqing.This paper based on the previous research both domestic and abroad about producer service industry, combined theory and practice together, used production function approach and linear regression method to study potential development and growth motivation about Chongqing's producer service. First, related theories of producer service were studied and expanded, mainly including economic developmental stage theory, location developmental theory and industrial structure theory. Next, key industries in chqongqing's producer service were analyzed and present situation of industrial structure was studied based on the status quo of development of producer service industry. Finally, this paper took a demonstration study on the potential development and definite the development tendency of chongqing's service potentiality. Then the growth motivation about Chongqing's service development was analyzed, starting from each factor of production function model and connecting influencing factors of practical development. In the end, related policy advice was provided about how to exploit the potential of producer service industry.
