The original product logistic system of Shanghai Fiorentini Gas Equipment Co., Ltd has been unable to meet the demand of target market since butterfly valve production has been changed from used in SF as one kind of internal components and supplied a bit in domestic market to sold globally.This paper describes logistic system, various elements of it and its theoretical relationship. According to the actual situation of butterfly valve production systems, the paper includes analysis and improvement of current production logistic system. It selects combination of new and old equipments as final program through measurement and analyzes machining processes, improves production efficiency while increasing the level of automation. The target market is divided two categories: one is fixed overseas large orders and demand within company and the other is plenty of small orders which are short-term deliveries which are hard to confirm. Therefore, MTO integrating with MTS is better for controlling cost while satisfying customers and winning the competition. Firstly analyzing and planning the overall production areas by using SLP method, next step is to analyze and determine the layout of each unit through the shortest path method. Finally we can get the program to the purpose. Calculating and analyzing the assembly line production and improving fixtures of machine tools can balance production and get flexible production line.This article combined theory and practice, developed a suited production logistic system to achieve the modernization of enterprise logistics management.
