| This paper focuses on the practical problems and requirements faced by a domestic elevator company(which is short for A company below ) , and the study on the production model of manufacturing system is applied. The paper provides a manufacturing mode which is more flexible and better adjustable to the change of market ,therefore the company can choose the one that was most suitable for their own company. All those have an effect on the further development for the company, and offer the company a competitive advantage so that ensure the sustainable development.A reconfigurable lean production framework for the permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine is proposed, which is the company's core components. The framework follows an iterative procedure based on the set of seven steps listed below:1. select a product family;2. identify machine sharing;3. identify the main value stream;4. map the critical path;5. identify and analyse wastes;6. map the future state for the critical/sub-critical path;7. identify the new critical path and iterate the process.Finally, the paper demonstrates the efficiency of the design process for the lean reconfigurable manufacturing system by the research of the practical case of A company. The results of the cased study show that it has much utilities and practical values, moreover, it has a certain universality. Therefore, most manufacturing enterprises can apply the lean reconfigurable manufacturing system design process discussed in this paper to practice. |
