This thesis studies how to implement efficient Recommendation System of Car Service based on User Preferences, not only including how to extract information from database of automotive after-sales service for mining knowledge, but also how to design a Recommendation System based on User Preference. The process of data mining and steps of system design for Recommendation System are eloberated after related technologies of the enterprise marketing, information services are introduced. This research is trying to implement a composite application of information technology in the field of automotive after-sales service.This thesis described the research background at first. It's a world full of material now and the explosion of information has successfully confused people. How to provide more useful information and better service to customers has become increasingly concerned by the enterprises. After an overview of the recent status, the purpose and significance of this study are presente.Taking full advantage of existing data and technology to improve effective and efficiency of e-commerce could bring activity of the marketing to a higher level. Then, knowledge of building data Warehouse.extraction, User Preferences, framework of Recommendation System in using in this study have been summarized. The concept of data mining, data mining method, overview of recommendation system, the popular recommended approach of inductive learning methods are briefly introduced.Then this thesis gives an example of building a data warehouse for a 4S store to illustrates how to extract valuable information, mining in data warehouse, use various approach to analyze and abstract the knowledge in the field of car service to mining service knowledge.Then, this thesis introduces the concept of User Preferences, givet a feasible way to present User Preferences and define the classification and characteristics.of User Preferences. Next, the thesis constructs the service Recommendation System based on User Preference. The objectives and user of the system, architecture of the system is introduced. Details of the work flow, the mechanism of how the different parts works together are described. In the last, the conclusion is sumarise and possible directions for the futhur research are given.
