With the development of tourism, Buddhism tourism as a kind of special tourism form gradually flourishing. So, the Buddhist tourism products, refer to the Buddhism and Buddhist culture tourism resources for tourism, which Can satisfy people's needs certain physical and mental factors combined, Specific can be Buddhist tourist attractions, scenic tourist items or Buddhism. And the middle parts of Henan province have rich and various types of tourism resources. Both physical tourism resources and spiritual tourist resources are rich. The physical tourism resources contain grottoes, pagodas, Buddhist temple and Buddhist diets while the spiritual tourist resources consist of Buddhism ethic, Buddhist music culture, Buddhism kung fu culture, Buddhism festival culture and Buddhism medicine culture. There are many famous world-class scenic spots on the middle parts of Henan province, such as the Shaolin temple and Longmen grottoes, etc. It is appropriate for developing Buddhist tourism products with a unique advantage.Regardless of the generalized or special tourism product concept, they all contain a balance theory between supply and demand. Tourism products 'development and production, with the needs of tourists as the premise, should adapt to tourists' need content and demand structure. Otherwise, it will cause some product supply glut and other products of excess demand, these two kinds of circumstances will cause a waste of resources.This text takes Clayton. Aldermen's ERG need theory applied in the theory of tourism demand. Then put forward the theories of tourism demand hierarchy and tourism demand structural. The development of tourism products should be according to the tourists'tourism demand hierarchy and demand structure.Based On-the-spot investigation of tourism products on the middle area of Henan province, the author found many problems such as product homogeneity seriously, the single tourism products occupy the major position, product structure is unreasonable etc. Another through the questionnaire survey, the author conducted the tourists travel demand survey, and carried on the analysis. Then found the existing visitors needs to the development directions of diversification and compound. Will demand and supply current situation, appears some Buddhist compared to a single type of tourism products, can't meet the needs of diversification. From the overall regional market, Buddhist tourism product structure unreasonable, and wasn't fit for structure of tourists.In this situation, after a survey of the region in the tourism resources'overall situation and distribution, using the resources superiority, this text proposed the four principles of Buddhist tourism product development: selectivity, joint, comprehensive and diversified development principles. And in the product development process, should pay attention to product homogeneity, guide quality and the vulgarization and obsequiousness of Buddhist culture. According to the needs of visitors'demand content and level, the author puts forward improving existing Buddhist tourism products, developing new products, mining Buddhist tourism potential demand levels of product development countermeasure.
