Research On China Telecom Yanbian Branch's Performance Assessment

Performance assessment is getting more and more attention in recent years. Performance assessment system is beneficial to establish a sound incentive and restriction mechanism and to improve enterprises' management level and comprehensive competency.Taking China Telecom Yanbian Branch as an example, this article (thesis) firstly conducts an analysis on the current performance assessment which is based on department's and staff's responsibility system and emphasizes on the index of mission accomplishment. Task index varies in posts and departments due to their different responsibilities and nature of work. Therefore improper setup of indexes in assessment system will lead to index accomplishment failure and inefficiency of enthusiasm arousal. Secondly, with the application of related theories and based on China Telecom Yanbian Branch's practice in performance assessment, the thesis carries out a careful research on performance assessment practice in several aspects ranges from fundamental work to implemention work. Thirdly, it tries to provide a feasible solution to China Telecom Yanbian Branch in order to avoid assessment work becoming a token effort, and therefore, to stimulate staff's enthusiasm and to help with realization of enterprise's strategic goals and staff's all-round improvement, is what the thesis aims to contribute.
