Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Company is one of the subordinate group, as the large petrochemical joint ventures with a set of oil refining, ethylene, rubber, chemical fiber, plastic. With China's accession to WTO, as well as international and domestic petrochemical industry, the rapid development of industry, increasing competition, especially in 2008 the international financial crisis, extensive loss of business happened, product profit declined. To increase profit of company, how to adjust the product competitive strategy is increasingly urgent.As a company's profit mainstay of polyethylene plates, accounting for the overall efficiency of Qilu Petrochemical Company one-third, the status in the market's position can not be ignored, so an urgent need for studies of polyethylene products competitive strategy to increase the economic efficiency of enterprises, appears to very necessary.This paper foucus on the core issue of competitive strategy about Qilu Petrochemical polyethylene, First, an analysis of the external environment, from the macro-environment analysis, the overall industry environment, industry, the competitive environment are described in three aspects, the status of clear polyethylene products and competition trends, identify opportunities and threats; Secondly, the internal environment analysis to assess their own resources, capabilities, and found their own strengths and weaknesses. Finally, combinating of the existing low-cost strategy, with the introduction of differentiation strategy, we use two strategies, and establish workable safeguards, and ensure that low-cost and differentiation strategies are effectively implemented.In this paper, PEST, SWOT and other methods of competition of polyethylene products were analyzed, and the feasibility of the strategic programs, it has a strong operation feature. After the implementation it will effectively promote sustainable, effective and harmonious development of Qilu Petrochemical Corporation, meanwhile, provide a strong reference for the company's overall strategy. |
