Research On Regional Tourism System Under Dissipative Structure Mechanisms

In recent years, with the continued development of reform and opening up, the steady improvement of market economy, and the progressive transformation of social management system, the important role of tourism industry as an economic growth point is continuously emerging and tourism industry in china has entered a critical period of rapid development. According to the forecast of World Tourism Organization, in 2015, China will be the biggest tourism host country, the fourth tourist country and the biggest tourism domestic market. Since the introduction of reform and opening up policies, the development model of tourism industry in China has gone through the transformation from macro-managed government reception and service to market regulated competition of market subjects. In this process, the formation and development of regional tourism system will inevitably experience transformation and reorganization, thereby fundamentally promote the development optimization and efficiency increase of our regional tourism system, and further enhance its transformation from decentralized economy to scale economy. Now that our tourism industry has entered a major strategic adjustment period, the development of china's regional tourism system is also faced with an important turning point. Especially during the social system transition period of "Two-oriented society" construction in China, China's economic oriented regional tourism system must shift to a social oriented one. This calls for great changers of China's regional tourism on its formation mechanism, organizational processes, management mode, and the structural characteristicsBased on literature review of research both home and abroad, this thesis brought forward five questions of research on regional tourism system:"overvalue space and undervalue time", "overvalue function and undervalue structure", "overvalue connotation and undervalue denotation", "overvalue statics and undervalue dynamics", and "overvalue individual and undervalue connection". The author then further briefly elaborated these five questions, hoping to deepen and widen the research of regional tourism. In connection with the above five questions, it becomes inevitable to adopt the Dissipative Structures Theory as a breakthrough to conduct a systematic research on the formation mechanism, organization process and operation mechanism of RTSuDSM. Based on these considerations, this thesis defines RTSuDSM as "As a complicated open nonlinear system, regional tourism system relies on the cooperated effect of behavioral relationship and structural functioning of its domestic sub-systems and elements to complete the space-time transformation from an ordered state to a new ordered state, through continuous exchange of substance, energy and information with the external environment."Based on the Dissipative Structures Theory, this thesis analyzed the self-organization process of RTSuDSM evolution, and established a primary structure of RTSuDSM. The main innovation points are as follows:(1) RTSuDSM analysis. This thesis first introduced the Dissipative Structures Theory into the regional tourism system research and brought forward the definition of RTSuDSM. Then, in connection with the current problems in regional tourism system research, the author constructed the structure model of RTSuDSM, and analyzed the construction ideas and process from three perspectives:the internal non-linear driving mechanism, interaction of RTSuDSM and its external environment and the self-organization mechanism of RTSUDSM. Lastly, to profoundly understand the characterization mechanism of RTSuDSM, this thesis gave a four-dimensional analysis of RTSuDSM from factor dimension, space dimension, time dimension and relationship-dimension.(2) Entropy analysis of RTSuDSM. This thesis brought forward a significant judging criterion of RTuDSM entropy-Tourism System Bearing Threshold (TSBT), and gave a preliminary study of RTSuDSM TSBT with entropy equation, which will be helpful to widen the scope of research on tourism System capacity.(3) The driving mechanism of RTSuDSM evolution. This thesis analyzed the driving mechanism of RTSuDSM evolution from four perspectives:its preconditions, natural drive, the original power, and inner basis.(4) The coordinated development of RTSuDSM self-organization evolution. This thesis elaborated the features of RTSuDSM self-organization, and built its operation model based on the analysis of its forming process and driving mechanism, thus to research the evolution mechanism of RTSuDSM self-organization and bring forward an optimization of it. Besides, this thesis suggested that bearing threshold, as an order parameter of RTSuDSM self-organization, dominates its overall evolution. The author then attempted to build a theoretical framework based on research of the RTSuDSM development mechanism.(5) Empirical Study of RTSuDSM in Ningguo City. The author applied the primary theory of the RTSuDSM in tourism development of Ningguo City's in Anhui Province, analyzed the necessity and strategic direction of RTSuDSM research of Ningguo City, and brought forward re-development measures of RTSuDSM-RMPI in Ningguo.Meanwhile, the theoretical framework of RTSuDSM research established in this thesis also has the following limitations:(1) Due to the inherent complexity of RTSuDSM, the bearing threshold of RTSuDSM cannot be precisely measured. However, researching bearing threshold based on the study of RTSuDSM entropy will be helpful to further research of tourism system capacity, which will guarantee the sustainable development of RTSuDSM.(2) Driving mechanism analysis of RTSuDSM evolution is only about its universality. More specific research on changes of the driving mechanism and the relationship of these changes should be conducted. Besides, each part of the driving mechanism has abundant content and varios constitute forms, which is only partly described in this thesis.(3) The author only conducted a preliminary research on RTSuDSM self-organization in this thesis, so there are still some limitations. For example, mathematical models are strongly needed to conduct quantitative research on non-equilibrium phase transition, self-organized criticality and evolution of the critical bifurcation, so as to build a more precise analysis system of RTSuDSM self-organization theory. Undoubtedly, this is a field full of potential and challenges, calling for more scholars to explore.(4) This thesis applied the findings of RTSuDSM research in tourism development of Ningguo City in Anhui Province, hoping to guide the scientific and efficient development of the RTSuDSM in Ningguo City. However, it cannot be denied that the RTSuDSM theory should be tested by more cases to be justified and improved for future study.
