However, the great increase is based on large scale exploitation and extensive copper consumption, which will lead to wasting of resource, ecological damage and thus related social, environment problem. Especially, the non-renewable copper resource in now facing the decreasing and it will be a bottleneck of copper industry sustainable development. On the other hand, copper industry is known as "high energy consumption, heavy polluted, inefficiency, low level", thus turn into the target of public attack and be listed in "problem industry".Through the mass of related documents and material and from the zhongtiaoshan non-ferrous metals corp. where the author are working in, the author considered that the extremely negative opinion is one-sided view, not unscientific. It's true that copper industry has drawback however we should clearly noticed that it usually has double impact on national economy. Many copper mine is located in rural area, and it can improve the local lag infrastructure such as local traffic status, power, medical health and education, and it also can solve the employment problem. So do the zhongtiaoshan non-ferrous metals co., ltd. Although copper corporations are confronted with resource problem, cost rising and unquiet change problems, it will be in the long time has double impact to our station economy.
