The Analysis And Revelation Of Japan-US' Auto Trade Friction

With the rapid development of globalization and deepening economic ties between the countries, the influence of the domestic economy influenced by the international economy is increasing. In the meantime,the possibility of interest conflict and trade friction between countries is also growing. After entering WTO, the number of international trade disputes is increasing, the field related is expanding, more and more countries are involved in trade disputes, and the influence of domestic economy and other countries' is greater. With the enhanced Chinese economic strength and advancement of international trade, trade friction with major trading countries is also increasing. That how to properly handle this issue not only relates to the healthy development of China's foreign trade, but also will affect the overall development of China's economy. The Japan-U.S. trade friction will have a considerable reference value for China today to deal with trade friction efficiently for it lasted for nearly half a century, whose scale and depth had serious impact on Japan-U.S. bilateral political and social life for a long period of time, and was highly concerned by the international community.This paper concerns the field of automotive industry trade friction which is of great significance to both Japan and the U.S.. From the first Japan-US auto trade friction took place in 1980th to today, the history is more than 30 years. As Japan's overall national strength enhanced, the advancement of the global economy, there are changes in the form shown of Japan-U.S. auto trade friction as well as the Japan's response. The review and analysis of the conversion of U.S.-Japan auto trade friction's focus and the adjustment of Japan's response can be said to be the center of this article.This paper mainly summarized the focus of friction at different times and that with the development of Japan and the U.S., the changes of Japan's attitude towards the friction and countermeasures through the study of the Japan-U.S. auto trade friction track and the in-depth analysis and study. Compared with the development of China's automobile industry and the automotive trade friction with foreign countries today, learned from the Japan-U.S. auto trade friction, we will gain useful suggestions for the development of China's automobile industry.
