How to get the most benefits from the recycling project of wastewater is a hot topic in water treatment industry. Wastewater recovery is an inevitable trend in Electroplating Industry, and as the technology to treat wastewater has improved so have the high efficiently recycled of electroplating wastewater.Wastewater recycling project management is a complex multi-objective systems, and schedule, funding, quality and resource management is difficult to reconcile. The modem project management method provides a new way of management a wastewater recycling project to get greatest benefits.This paper takes ASE Ltd. CO recycling project of wastewater as the main object of studying, it applies the theory and means of Project Management Knowledge System, and the specific features of construction project management on the research. It makes detail analysis and deep study to the application of project management in this recycling project.Firstly, according to the diversity and complexity of the sources of production wastewater, this paper established an ad hoc group. And this paper presents four plans such as wastewater source control planning, wastewater separate collection planning, waste water treatment processes planning and reuse planning.Secondly, according to the water quality monitoring and analysis, the project team technical staff divided this recycling system into five wastewater treatment system. During the project phase, strengthening the human resources management, project planning, progress control, and the project quality control. This paper takes project managers as the organization aim, establishes the project organization chart, and applied the Project Network Scheduling Technique to accomplish the managing plan and progress control.Finally, based on the principal thought of item managing and controlling theories, this paper analyses the control-ling problem of wastewater recycling project and establishes a project network scheduling system. Critical Path analyzes be served in the whole process of construction.This project was completed with the Schedule; through the engineering quality acceptance testing it can achieve the anticipated quality control goal. The operation results of wastewater treatment system show that the project recycles reach 53%, save costs of about 4.1702 million Yuan, reaching the expected planning of economic and environmental benefits and social benefits. At the same time, this project enrich the management experience of project team members, it takes great foundation of the next step in equipment modification and engineering to improve the implementation of all aspects of project management.
