| Industrial structure reflects the quality of national or regional economy. To certain extent, the national or regional economic level boils down to industrial structure. As an underdeveloped region, it is far from being sufficient for Bayannur municipality to develop its economy rapidly and stably only by relying on market to develop industries. For many years, the problems in the industrial structure, such as the undersized economic aggregate, inappropriate industrial structure, low level of industrialization, impede the economic development significantly. Optimizing the industrial structure of Bayannur municipality is an important means of solving the problems in the economy, which will help grow the economy steadily.This thesis, taking the research from abroad and domestic academics as reference, from the perspective of industrial economics, regional economics, and development economics, analyzes systematically the status quo of Bayannur's industrial structure and identifies the problems in the industrial structure by using comparative analysis, empirical research, qualitative and quantitative methods. Considering the reality of Bayannur municipality, the thesis proposes countermeasures for optimizing the industrial structure so as to fuel the improvement of industrial structure in Bayannur, which will boost the steady economic development and help achieve the goal of Twelfth five-year Plan. |
