Employee silence, a pervasive phenomenon in organizations, refers to the behavior of employees who keep their opinions to themselves instead of making them public when detecting problems in the organizations they work in. It prevents the organization from making decisions and then injures the development and innovation of the organization. At the same time, it also adversely affects employees'behavior. Employee silence is becoming a new hot research issue which has attracted scholars and managers attention. This article, based on sorting out and summarizing domestic and overseas theories and studies about employee silence, is aimed at studying the influences of trust in organization, namely employee trust in direct superior, colleagues and the organization, on the employee silence phenomenon, namely Acquiescent Silence, Defensive Silence and Inattentional Silence, and puts forward nine corresponding hypothesises. The results are as follows:First, through using Correlation Analysis between trust in organization and employee silence, we can find that the three dimensions of trust within the organization and of employee silence are negative correlation, which also verify the hypothesises raised in the article.Second, through using Regression Analysis between the three dimensions of trust within the organization and of employee silence, we can find that employee trust in direct superior, colleagues and the organization and Inattentional Silence exist significantly negative correlation, and employee trust in direct superior and Acquiescent Silence also exist significantly negative correlation, however, employee trust in the organization and Acquiescent Silence and Defensive Silence, employee trust in direct superior and Defensive Silence, employee trust in colleagues and Acquiescent Silence and Defensive Silence also exist negative correlation, but negative correlation is not significant. Finally, by using Independent-samples T Test and One-way ANOVA Analysis we analyze control variables'influences on employee silence and find these control variables such as gender, marriage, age, tenure, education and the nature of enterprise have little effect on employee silence.
