On The Tourism Development Of Xinzhou City Based On Tourism Spatial Structure

Underdevelopment region is a relative concept. Different underdeveloped areas have different conditions for development; it will also have a different mode of development. So a case study is useful to practice. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the issues of tourism development in the underdevelopment area, and to guide their tourism development in theory and cases.Firstly, this paper defined the underdeveloped areas, studied the tourism development of underdeveloped areas on the perspective of tourism spatial structure, and detailed the patterns of tourism spatial structure and its countermeasures of underdeveloped areas of tourism development.Secondly, this paper first classified and satisfied the tourism resources of Xinzhou City according to the Classification, Investigation and Evaluation of Tourism Resources (GB/T18972-2003) which was the new National Standard of People's Republic of China promulgated in 2003 by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of People's Republic of China. The Methods of quantitative analysis and Mathematical Statistics analysis like Cluster Analysis were used to analysis the spatial structure of tourism resources, enterprises, market, and location and traffic in Xinzhou City. The tourism situation of counties and cities of Xinzhou City ware clustered through cluster analysis. The"the Big Dipper"spoon-type of tourism spatial structure and the"Qing"word-type of cross-regional tourism spatial structure of Xinzhou City were constructed based on the"Point- Axis"theory, the"core- edge"theory and space network theory.Finally, the countermeasures system of tourism development for Xinzhou City was proposed according to the spatial structure model of tourism development in underdeveloped areas, to the optimization of tourism development node, tourism development axis and tourism domain in"the Big Dipper"spoon-type and the"Qing"word-type of tourism spatial structure of Xinzhou City, and the actual situation of Xinzhou City was also considered.On the research of tourism development of Xinzhou City which was a underdeveloped area this paper combined quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, and used static and dynamic methods to make a multi-directional study, which will promoting the theory of tourism development in underdeveloped areas and the theory of tourism spatial structure, also the methods of research. This will provide new ideas to the tourism development of Xinzhou City.
