Study On Agro-tourism In Yongtai County

Currently, with the rapid increasing GDP in China (3000$), tourist consumption has reached a period of rapid expansion. Due to the popularization of paid annual vacation system, in future people will spend one third of their time on leisure activities. The increase in people's leisure time provide guarantee of time for the development of Agro-tourism. The rapid expansion of urbanization causes more and more people to live in big cities most of the time. Suffered from pressure caused by environment, life and work in cities, they like sightseeing in the countryside and enjoying the beauty of nature. And the local government also pays attention to the development of recreation industry, which provides new opportunity for the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai. Yongtai County, a big tourist county in Fuzhou, is rich in resources of tourism. Its tourist resources include natural ecology, tourism and recreation, summer recreation. Therefore, Yongtai has great advantages and good foundation for developing agro-tourism.This thesis first summarizes the background and significance of the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai, defines the concept of Agro-tourism and offers a general overview of the study of Agro-tourism. Then this thesis offers its research methodology and technological roadmap.Second, this thesis summarizes and analyzes current patterns of Agro-tourism at home and abroad, which has great value for the present research.Third, this thesis adopts SWOT to make a comprehensive analysis of the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai. The result of the analysis shows that Yongtai has great advantages and opportunities for developing Agro-tourism. At the same time, there also exist some challenges and risks.Fourth, this thesis carries out surveys of the products and market of Yongtai's Agro-tourism, analyzes a series of factors including characteristics of the tourists and journey, the degree of satisfaction and acceptance of the farmlands among tourists. This thesis also provides corresponding solutions to the problems discovered in the survey.Fifth, based on the overview and analysis of Zhaobao Ecological Farmland and Qianjiangyue Recreational Farmland, the present research summarized some experiences of the successful development of Agro-tourism, which will help the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai.Sixth, based on the summery of domestic and foreign development patterns of Agro-tourism, domestic successful cases of Agro-tourism, SWOT analysis of the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai and market research, this thesis provides solutions to the development of Agro-tourism in Yongtai.
