Hongqiao Airport was built in 1920, carried out civil aviation transport operations since 1964 and became the first airport opened to international routes then. Through the comparation with the airport home and abroad, some technical information details has been accumulated and a systematic study on the Hongqiao Airport's greening development, analysis of the management problem and the special requirements of the airport greening, exploring the management ideas and methods of improving the ecological environment, airport landscape and flight safety has been made, and proposing:On the base of improving the overall planning of the airport, the further plan on the greening field can be made and be caried step by step, and recently the relationship between the long-term planning and the landscape can be improved.Both in the construction and management, such as the green design, construction, maintenance management and law enforcement can be enhanced. The fire safety, stagnant dust, anti-pollution, noise abatement requirements, avoiding plants, attracting birds can be met by selecting different species of plants. The requires functions of the human nature, ecology, flight safety, disaster prevention can be also recheaed.Greening is just one part in the landscape construction. The airport building, advertising , lamp posts, overhead lines, roads and pavement all are the 7factors affect the landscape. Therefore, the design based on the different conditions must be carried out, focusing on the optimization of the various elements to enhance the overall image of the environment.On the adoption above, some inspirations on the shanghai airport construction and management can be given, and some references to the old airport construction of the whole country can be even given.
