Shanghai is the largest cities in China and one of the great metropolis in the world, it has the more perfect conference and commerce facilities, and have already initially possessed a certain condition for the destination of international meetings and incentive travel. Pudong New Area has become one of the most attractive destination of meetings and incentive travel at home and abroad, due to its pleasant climate, good ecological environment, perfect MICE facilities day by day, hospitable citizen and so on. Pudong MICE cluster district is the biggest one in Shanghai. The successful development of Pu Dong meetings and incentive travel is not only helpful in enriches the connotation of Shanghai urban tourism, expanding its development space, then promoting the competitive and attraction of Shanghai international tourist market. Moreover, it is of great significance in constructing the product system of Shanghai urban tourism and setting up the Shanghai urban tourism brand.This article utilizes the tourism location theory, the tourism industrial cluster theory, the landscape ecology theory, borrows the concept of "tourism corridor", and discusses the morphological characteristics, the component elements and the construction pattern of meetings and incentives tourist corridor in Shanghai, then points out: meetings and incentives travel corridor is a linear region in the shape and its scale may be possible to be small or big; in the meetings and incentive travel corridor, there are all kinds of visible hardware elements, such as transportation spots, massive high star-level hotels and restaurants, MICE places, characteristic blocks, shopping mall, scenic spots and so on; there are also sorts of invisible experiences; the construction pattern of the meetings and incentive travel corridor have three kinds: the business travel cluster pattern, tourism-related industries cluster pattern, the regional tourism cluster pattern. Aiming at the development model' paradox of Shanghai urban tourism, the author analyzes the environment of meetings and incentive travel in Shanghai and points out that the corridor construction of Shanghai meetings and incentive travel can meet the high-end tourism's needs, promote the image of Shanghai tourist business and build up brand of Shanghai urban tourism, so the constuction is an inevitable choice for promoting the industry energy level of Shanghai urban tourism.The paper selects Pudong MICE cluster district as research object. Through analyzing its present situation, the author holds that: Pudong MICE cluster district is the largest development potential district in Shanghai, the corridor construction of Pudong MICE cluster district has a leading role in Shanghai. Combining with the three kinds of onstruction pattern of meetings and incentive travel, the author thought that the corridor construction of Pudong MICE cluster district should follow four principles: Constructing theme culture of meetings and incentive travel, and then building experience atmosphere; expanding the industrial chain of meetings and incentive travel, and then promoting industry prosperity; extending the holding ground of meetings and incentive travel, and then realizing the regional conformity; cultivating high-end talents of meetings and incentive travel, and then maintaining the growth potential.
