The research, based on the current problems in Teaching and Research Group(TRG), aims at analyzing existing problems of TRG and exporing new approaches to and strategies of TRG development in knowledge management theory. The author renders that TRG, under the circumstances of new phase of curriculum reform and school-based research, can become an organization for teacher professional development, defined as sharing TRG The author stresses collaboration, sharing, and addresses the transformation from tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge the sharing TRGThe author hopes that through this research, the education administraion, the school administration and teachers identify the existing problems in TRG. The author endeavors to, from knowledge management prospective, construct a traditional TRG into a sharing TRG, in which teachers can develop their teaching profession, enhance the ability of school-based research and contribute to the construction of the school knowledge management system.This research starts with the literature review and analysis, and then summary of basic concepts concerning the topic, which is served as the base of the study. The author analyzes why TRG has such existing problems. Then the author defines TRG knowledge management and TRG knowledge sharing. Then the author investigates TRG members' attitude towards knowledge management and knowledge sharing, and explores the possible difficulties. Finally, the author proposes the mode of sharing knowledge and provides related cases.
