Research On The Reason Of American Antidumping Against China And Corresponding Countermeasure

Antidumping is one of important instruments supported by WTO and each nation has the right of using it to maintain fair trade order and resist unfair competition. Along with the continual decline in global tariff and the reduction in non-tariff barriers, antidumping gradually evolves to an important instrument adopted by more and more countries to protect their domestic industry. However, the research in relation to international trade policy has proved that antidumping violate the original intention of WTO, namely in pursuit of trade liberalization, but implement trade protectionism within the law in actual fact.At present, China is the country that encounters the most antidumping complaints or investigations. According the statistic issued by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, United States is the emphasis region China should pay attention to. The issue of how to cope with antidumping initiated by United States will not only produce far-reaching impacts upon the Sino-America relationship development in all aspects but also bring advantages to China's international trade development. Therefore, the thesis intends to deeply and systematically find out and analyze the reason towards why United States initiates antidumping against China, and put forward corresponding measures in terms of international and domestic viewpoints.
