| Enterprise is one of the most important kinds of modern organizations, and organizational change of enterprise is a permanent topic which is concerned by many researchers at home and abroad.Organizational change will encounter all sorts of hindering factors and how to control the resistance as well as to reduce its impact on the change is the key to success. Therefore, it is very necessary to conduct studies on enterprise organizational change and hindering factors, about which both here and abroad there have been lots of achievements that mainly focus on classification, description of resistance and the strategies of weakening it. Less has analyzed the cause of factors setting back organizational change. In addition, the analysis of staff resistance gives much attention to commonness rather than individualities resulting from age or sex differences, etc.This research conducts a study on enterprise organizational change, analyzes the factors hindering transformation and thus learns some lessons to help the enterprises gain more chance of success and cut down cost in reform. Based on previous research achievements, this research tries to examine hindering factors on transformation from three layers involved in organization behavior—individual (employee), group and the whole organization. It points out that there are also some hindering factors from the outside environment as well as the enterprise itself. Group norms, pressure and cohesion set back organizational change to a certain extent. Close attention is paid to the individual layer with the individualities emphasized through a comparative analysis of staff resistance caused by the differences in sex, age, education background and status etc. |
