Comparative Study On International Competitiveness Of China's Power Equipment Enterprises

Power station equipment manufacturing industry is the foundational and strategic for a country, and it also plays the strategic role in the economy, society, national security and national competition. With the globalization of economy, it becomes more severe in this market. Therefore, how to improve its international competitiveness is an urgent issue to be done.Compared with those enterprises(GE power, ABB power, Alston, Mitsubishi Electric, etc.) from overseas, the manufacturing enterprises of our own country is lag behind in the scale, the innovation of technology, the integration of financial resource, the management of transnational operation, and so on. Therefore, it has academic and practical meaning for international competitiveness of our own to do the comparative study of power station equipment enterprises, to make the analysis of power station equipment enterprises with the gap between first-class foreign enterprises, to find out the main factors affecting the international competitiveness of our country, and to take some practical countermeasures.In this paper, author used the method of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, theoretic analysis with practical analysis, to comparative study on international competitiveness of main power equipment enterprises. Firstly, analyzes the research trend and academic basis of the international competitiveness briefly, determines the main contents and ideas. Secondly, defines the related concepts of international competitiveness about power equipment enterprises, analyzes the international market competition pattern of power station equipment manufacturing enterprises, to make the analysis of power station equipment enterprises with the gap between first-class foreign enterprises and the existence of problems. Thirdly, analyzes the main factors affecting the international competitiveness of our country, and designs the evaluation index system. Fourthly, comparative analyzes on international competitiveness of main power equipment enterprises home and abroad in principal component analysis, to make the comparative analysis of power station equipment enterprises with the gap between first-class foreign enterprises, to find out the main factors affecting the international competitiveness of our country. At last, based on the comparative analysis of international competitiveness at the main power station equipment manufacturing enterprises home and abroad, from both levels of governments and enterprises, to take some practical countermeasures, improve the international competitiveness of our power station equipment enterprises fundamentally.According to the general situation that power station equipment manufacturing enterprises are weak in international competitiveness, the paper makes analysis from both quantitative and qualitative sides, and designs countermeasures accordingly, offering the important theoretical and practical role in guiding to enhance power station equipment manufacturing enterprises in our country. Meanwhile, the paper is also have some reference value for the relative enterprises .
