Currently, an outstanding problem is existing in present semiconductor field, whatever the top vendors which are occupied by USA and Europe, or the 2nd-class ones which are covered by Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, one common truth among them is—the shift of peak and bottom within every 5--year cycle. Why? Because one ineluctable factor exists—demand inaccuracy. The chain reaction is high inventory and customer linedown. Then, improving demand accuracy and enhancing customer program's performance is the key point to competitor and also core of supply chain optimization. Thus, the thesis has very important applicable purpose for the improvement of demand management and customer program.The main focus is as below.1, Introduce the current status and outstanding issues of supply chain management in semiconductor field. And it highlights the purpose and details of the two crucial nodes—demand management and customer program2, Especifically explain the concept, category, execuation of demand management and customer program, also the principle and application range of the latter, it provides the theory foundation for the further research.3, Analyse the character, issues and reason of demand management in semiconductor field.4, Describe the optimition advice for demand management and customer program, i.e. combine theory with method, and build up perfect supply chain habit and intimate customer relationship. The thesis emphasizes the top customer management. Vendors should know the customer's position in the same field and his future development, also his own place and the related historical market status. It points out the shortcut that the top customers' improvement can make the whole level up soonest.5, Analyse the impact on customer program performance from demand accuracy, indicate that demand management's rationality and accuracy can be improved through customer information integration and system surveillance. Especially, if we can focus on top customers, the result will come out earlier.The thesis will be effective for supply chain management optimition in semiconductor and also good reference to global suppliers to avoid too much dead stock or delinquent shipment to customers.
