Human resources are the primary resources in modern economy development. The performance evaluation of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise is the practical need of the enterprise development. The final target of the performance evaluation of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise is in order to improve the performance of managers, fully mobilize their enthusiasm and initiative as well as create greater value for the oilfield enterprise, which promoted oilfield enterprise to achieve their strategic objectives and make the enterprise stand on an invincible position in the fierce competitive market.In this paper taking the performance evaluation of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise as the research object, systematically expounded the relate theories on the performance, performance evaluation, performance management and the methods of performance evaluation, which laid a theoretical basis for the study on the performance evaluation of the oilfield enterprise middle managers. According to the status of oilfield enterprise human resources and the problems of performance evaluation of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise, analyzed the necessity of the performance evaluation on the oilfield enterprise middle managers. Because the middle manager's decision had larger impact on the enterprises operation,so performance evaluation should be carried out mainly on their key performance indicators. According to the characteristic of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise ,the key performance indicators could be classified into effectiveness type, operation type and control type. Used Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine indicator weights of the performance evaluation on the oilfield enterprise middle managers and discussed the results of the application of the evaluation in detail.The work performance of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise is not always can be completely identified as quantifiable indicators, so their performance evaluation should be used a combination of qualitative and quantitative method, this paper take Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process to evaluate the middle manager's performance evaluation,the FAHP is a method that combined the qualitative and quantitative. Take the Down-hole Operation Branch of Daqing Oilfield Limited Liability Company for example, empirical analyzed method of performance evaluation. Through the empirical analysis ,We know that FAHP can not only accurate evaluate performance of the middle managers in oilfield enterprise, but also be easily accepted by users. Therefore the FAHP for the performance evaluation of the oilfield enterprise middle managers has its rationality and feasibility.
